Condition
There are spots of staining within the lower right quadrant, where a liquid appears to have been spilt on the surface. There are several scuff marks and a hairline crack within the upper left quadrant. The edges of the work are worn and dirty due to frame abrasion. The surface of the work is dirty and would benefit from a professional clean. The canvas is slack.
Inspection under ultra violet light reveals patches of retouching to the horse, tree and gun. There are areas that fluoresce, where it appears that liquid has been spilt on the surface of the work.
