Condition
The canvas is slack and would benefit from restretching. There is a small hole within the lower left quadrant. There are three minor flecks of chipped paint within the upper left quadrant. There are various white water marks running down the canvas. The surface of the work is dirty and would benefit from a professional clean. Held in a decorative red, gilt wood and plaster frame.
Inspection under ultra violet light reveals no evidence of retouching.
