Condition

The edges and corners of the work are worn and chipped. There are some inconsistencies to the paint surface towards the lower edge and towards the centre of the work. Held in a light brown wood and plaster frame with a cream inlay. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals patches of retouching to the lower and upper sections, and spots of retouching to the edges of the work.
