Condition

On laid paper. There are two minor flecks of paint loss towards the upper edge. There is some paint shrinkage to the surface, although this is consistent with the artist's work and was probably his intention. Otherwise the work is in good condition. Presented under glass in a white wooden frame. Unexamined out of its frame. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals no evidence of retouching.
