Condition
There are some fine cracks to the paint surface towards the upper and lower edges. There are two areas of fine cracking within the egg bowl that may have been caused by an impact to the reverse of the work, although the paint surface is still stable. Held in a black, gilt wood and plaster frame.
Inspection under ultra violet light causes a small patch to the edge of the egg basket and three spots on the lower edge to fluoresce.
