Condition
The work has been relined. There are areas of craquelure throughout the work, although the paint surface is stable, and patches of paint shrinkage probably caused by prolonged heat to the surface of the work. There are various small protruding spots on the paint surface; this was probably the original condition of the canvas. Held in a wooden frame.
Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals several patches of retouching to the house.
