Condition
There is some slight undulation in the upper corners but otherwise the canvas is in good original condition.
The paint surface is in very good overall condition.
Examination under ultra-violet light reveals a small area of retouching, approximately 3cm. by 0.5cm. in the upper right quadrant.
Held in a gilded composition frame with a white painted slip.
