Condition
The canvas is in original condition.
The paint surface appears in good overall condition.
Examination under ultra-violet light reveals a small area of retouching in the lower right quadrant, and a faint horizontal band of possible retouching in the upper left and right quadrants. These areas coincide with areas of repair on the reverse of the canvas.
Held in a wooden frame with a canvas slip.
