Condition
The canvas is in good original condition.
There is a small area of paint loss and paint flaking in the upper right quadrant. There are small spots of craquelure and paint separation in all four quadrants.
Examination under ultra-violet light reveals scattered areas of retouching in all four quadrants. There is no sign of retouching under ultra-violet light.
Held in a gilded composition frame which has sustained some small losses and abrasions.
