Condition
There is a patch of canvas on the reverse of the canvas which appears to be a repair to a small tear in the canvas.
The paint is intentionally thick and pitted in places. The old spot of damage to the paint surface, mentioned above, is just visible on the paint surface.
Examination under ultra-violet light reveals some retouching to a repaired tear, approximately 5cm.in length in the upper right quadrant.
