Condition
The canvas is in good overall condition.
There are faint stretcher marks running along the upper and lower edges. There are one or two very minor spots of craquelure in places along these lines.
Examination under ultra-violet light reveals scattered spots of fluorescence. This may be the artist's reworking of the paint surface.
Held in a wooden frame with gilded edges which has sustained soem abrasions.
