Condition

The work is on wove paper which does not appear to be laid down. The sheet undulates slightly across the surface. There is an artist's pinhole in the upper right corner. There is some craquelure in some of the spots of thicker paint but otherwise the paint surface is in good overall condition. Held under glass and presented within a mount in a simple rectilinear wooden frame. Please telephone the department on 020 7293 5381 if you have any questions regarding the present work.
