  • signed with monogram and dated 63 on the reverse
  • aluminium, perspex, plastic and steel relief on board
  • 30.5 by 32 by 8cm.; 12 by 12½ by 3¼in.

Condition

Small spots of the aluminium have discoloured slightly and there are a few abrasions and scratches to the surface of the plastic. Otherwise the sculpture is in good overall condition. Please telephone the department on 020 7293 5381 if you have any questions regarding the present work.

The present work is a smaller version of Relief Construction C3, executed in 1963, which was included in the Arts Council's Anthony Hill: A Retrospective Exhibition, held at the Hayward Gallery, 20 May - 10 July 1983, no.72, illustrated in the catalogue, p.52.
