Condition
The work is in its original condition. Under glass and held in a wood and plaster frame with a gilt inlay. Unexamined out of its frame. It is not possible to view the reverse of the canvas due to a sheet of card.
Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals no evidence of retouching.
