Condition
Work rilined with wax.
The ultra violet light reveals a stong fluorescence due to old varnishes spread over the darker areas. There are lots of retouches allover the surface specially in the sky and clouds. The different intesity witnesses the different age of retouches. Theretouches over the light areas are also visible at a first hand inspection while the ones over the darker areas are covered of varnish and difficult to distinguish.
