Condition

Work on first canvas. The canvas has some patches glued with wax on the revers to reinforce sone scratches, the largest (cm 23) is in the middle. The ultra violet light reveals this retouch which measures cm 6x3 and others where the scratches are. Other retouches are along the boy on the left (cm 3x7 circa), over the thigh of the boy on the right, next to his left foot and over the leaves on the top right-hand side. there is a retouch over the right hand of the boy on the left and over the leaves below. Some little losses are visible over the leaves top right-hand. It is suggested a careful cleansing and an adequate restoration over the scratches and retouches. The overall condition as to the state of preservation is good.
