Condition
Oil on panel.
From a first hand inspection there is a loss of pigment in the lower left-hand corner and the restoration of a woodworm's hole over the background cm 6 on the right-hand of the hut and cm from the top edge. There is a line along the edges of the panel due to the frame. The top right-hand corner was has been restored.
The ultra violet light reveals old fluorescent varnish dishomogeneously spread over the surface; the grass, the two girls and the sky have been partially cleansed. There is a small retouch on the left-hand side of the woman's hat.
It is suggested a careful cleansing.
The overall condition as to the state of preservation is good.
