Condition

Work relined. The ultra violet light reveals a thick fluorescent varnish spread over the surface. In the top and lower right-hand corner the varnish was removed to do little restoration more visible in the lower corner. Other small retouches were done over the varnish. Probably the thick varnish hides other retouches. Along the left-hand side edge there are some retouches (cm 2x2). In the middle of the top edge there is a scratch restored (cm 15 circa). The pigments in the middle looks flattened due to the relining. It is suggested a careful cleansing.
