Condition

Straight panel. Minor retouch to a horizontal hairline crack of approximately 5 cm in the upper part of the central tree. Otherwise this work is in good condition, ready to hang.

A label in the handwriting of the son of the artist with the artist's seal on the reverse reads: Ondergetekende verklaart dat deze schilderij, voorstellende de Kraanhuysjes te Enkhuizen vervaardigd is door zijn vader, wijlen de kunstschilder Cornelis Springer, afkomstig van diens atelier. Hilversum 6 Mei 1891, Leonard Springer.
