  • height 27 3/4 in.; diameter 61 1/4 in.; extending to 15 ft. 10 1/2 in.
  • 70.5 cm; 155.5 cm; 484 cm
the circular top above a frieze mounted with chimera flanking an urn beneath a star interspersed with lyres and raised on a hexagonal base with female caryatid supports joined by a spiraling stretcher centered by a classical urn.  Lacking extending leaves

Condition

Overall in good condition with the usual minor scratches, dents and nicks to veneers and carcass consistent with age and use. Slight tarnishing to the very finely cast gilt-bronze mounts in places. Restoration to one edge of the top following a probable break of approximately 19 in. x 3 in. Traces of oxidation on the square block feet. The base is now raised on seven castors mounted on new block supports.
