  • clock height 22 in.
  • 56 cm
the black Belgian and red marble clock surmounted by the figure of Sapho after a model by Peiffer, inscribed PEIFFER to the base of figure, and set to each side with a panther mask, the dial inscribed HENRY T. BROWN AND CO / ...EIAEN.T, the twin-train movement by Japy Frères numbered 496,  the vases with a lid headed by a stork finial.

Condition

Overall in good condition; lacking pendulum but with bell and key. There is a repaired chip to marble upper molded edge of clock case to the back right hand side. All bronzes with tarnishing.
