A Fine Pair of Empire style gilt and patinated bronze five-light wall appliqués French, mid 19th century

each modelled with a Renomée cast as a winged classical maiden with flowing drapery standing on a sphere applied with stars surmounted by a vase issuing five lights headed by male masks.

Overall in good condition with tarnishing to gilt bronze. Wear to brown patinated figures and dirt in places. There is a ball pieced on both sides of the finial which might imply a decorative element lost (perhaps a loop?).
