A Louis XVI Style gilt-bronze mounted green tole and white marble rotary clock French, circa 1885, in the manner of Robert Osmond

the urn form clock case with gilt-bronze dials and white enamel chapters flanked by a pair of handles with a laurel swag encircled by the figure of a snake and surmounted by a cover applied with gilt-bronze acanthus leaves with a bud-form finial encircled by a snake, all raised on a fluted half column mounted with a gilt-bronze swag on a stepped square base, the movement stamped GÜBELIN / SWISS / LUCERNE  and 13 JEWELS SWISS.

Overall good condition; the handles and upper section slightly loose, but stable; the blue tole faded and now looking slightly green, the interior of the clock case maintaining its original color; the gilt-bronze slightly dirty and with rubbing and wear; the marble with very minor chips and wear to the extremities. Overall with some minor scratches.
