Description
- height 5 1/4 in.
- 13.5 cm
the lid surmounted by the head of a nobleman finial removing to reveal the signature J. J. Semelroth. Nuremberg / 1892, the front and side similarly decorated with putti holding a shield between them.
Condition
The box with old hinge now broken. Traces of dirt to ivory. Bottom of box lacking, formerly raised on four feet, one is lacking and the three feet remaining have been rearranged (two to the front, one to the back).
