A fine gilt-bronze mounted kingwood, tulipwood and sycamore bureau de dame Paris, circa 1900

the upper structure surmounted by a group allegorical of hunting with a cupid and putto accompanied by a hound above three gilt-tooled brown leather faceted drawers, and flanked by two acanthus cast candelarms, the kidney shaped bureau with a gilt-tooled brown leather writing surface fitted with three frieze drawers, bearing the signature henry Dasson 1878 to the right hand side chute. 

Overall in good condition with the usual minor scratches, dents and nicks to veneers and carcass consistent with age and use. Slight tarnishing to gilt-bronze in places. The leather surfaces with nicks and scratches in places.
