surmounted by a Sarrancolin opéra marble top with canted corners, the frieze fitted with three drawers inlaid with foliate fruitwood marquetry against burrwood veneers and within kingwood bandings, the back similarly decorated with faux drawers, stamped FOREST/A/PARIS within an oval to the lockplate on the central frieze drawer.
Condition
Overall in good condition with the usual minor scratches, dents and nicks consistent with age and use. Slight tarnishing to gilt-bronze in places. Minor chips around marble edges and the usual scratches and nicks to the surface.
