Description

  • height of single candlestick 10 7/8 in.
  • 27.6 cm
comprising: a pair of Minton candlesticks, adapted from tazzas, each modelled with three figures of child huntsmen around the stem; and an English candlestick, possibly Minton, modelled with a figure supporting a turquoise cornucopia, the first two with impressed MINTON, year cypher and shape number 617 (?), the last unmarked. Some restoration.

Condition

Single: Upper lip of nozzle has been off and restored back and the drip tray is restored. Pair: Both were formally tazzas that have been converted to candlesticks; one has been broken through the ankles of the cherubs and restored back together.
