  • 72.4 cm
modelled in two sections as a large open shell bowl raised on a leafy stem flanked by two mermaids emerging from a wave-molded base, impressed shape number 855. Some small chips and losses, haircrack to base.

Condition

Area restoration to rim at one end of the bowl; small area of restoration to an overhanging lip of the bowl; the end section of one overhanging lip is broken. The end of section of one of the laurels beneath the bowl is broken away. There are small chips and restored chips to the edge of the vase. Both maidens' upraised hands are restored.
