Description
- height 14 1/2 in.
- 37 cm
modelled with two putti floating above reeds and supporting a pierced oval basket, all on a waisted bamboo-edged base molded with leaves and clusters of strawberries, impressed WEDGWOOD and year code WLE. Minor chips and restoration.
Condition
Basket is restored on the left and right sides through the pierced areas. One wing is restored (made up), the opposite side wing has been glued back on. Some restoration to logs in the middle of the base. Several very minor glaze chips to the base.
