  • 80.5cm; 101.5cm
of dodecadon shape, centered by a stained fruitwood marquetry medallion depicting an amorous couple watched over by a monk, within an elaborate banding with putti at play and foliate strapwork decoration, raised on tripartite form supports, signed A Gargiulo to the table top.

Condition

Overall in good condition with the usual minor scratches, dents and nicks consistent with age and use. The table top with two distictive bowed sections consistent with plank movement. Very minor areas of lifting to veneer in places. One of the three columns flanking the shaft supports has a visible break and has been restored but still shows gesso. Some minor chips to feet.
