the upper structure centered by an apron flanked by seated winged females above an arrangement of finely carved faceted cupboard doors and drawers, the desk fitted with three frieze drawers above a kneehole flanked by a further two cupboard doors, the front and sides carved with Renaissance figures, raised on toupie feet headed by lion head blocks.

Overall in good condition with the usual minor dents and scratches consistent with age and use. Some losses in places. Two toupie feet detached but available. Two bird-carved handles on upper section with traces of restoration.
