Description

  • variable height from 21 1/2 in. to 25 in.
  • 54.5 cm; 63.5 cm
the detachable screen carved with a relief panel of Romeo and Juliet embracing within an architectural frame and set in a base carved with a seated young faun, on square base with grotesque mask corners. 

Condition

Age cracks mostly to the faun figure. Traces of restoration to his tail, to the left side finial of the architectural frame and to the crest on the top. Cracks and restoration to square base. Very good presentation. Please note this lot contains endangered species and CITES permits will be necessary for export. Please contact the department with any questions.
