each modelled as a male figure wearing elaborate Renaissance-style military costume, holding aloft a pair of torches forming the candleholders, and standing on an oval architectural base molded with two grotesque masks, impressed MINTON, year cyphers and shape numbers 1111 and 1112. One with a small chip to the base of the candleholder.
Condition
Both are in generally good condition. One has a minor small chip to the grey-glazed hexagonal collar under on candle nozzle, visible on left hand figure in the catalogue illustration. Both with some candle wax residue.
