Description

  • height 46 3/4 in.; diameter 14 3/4 in.
  • 118.5 cm; 37.5 cm
the urn shaped body with scrolled acanthus cast frieze banding supported on tripartite supports headed by fawn masks and raised on a concave shaped triangular base terminating in toupie feet.

Condition

The gilt-bronze has been cleaned, the onyx with visible repaires to neck and to rim. It is most probable that the centerpiece originally was mounted with a metal rim. Now with usual chips to base mostly to the edges.
