Description
- overall length of plateau 53 in. (135cm); height of candelabra 17 in. (43cm)
in rococo style, comprising an oval shell-form bowl with liner, supported by two twin-tailed mermaids, a pair of four-light candelabra centered by detachable glass vases, and a three-part mirror plateau, the rim decorated with crabs, shells and seaweed, each part with maker's mark, stamped name, and numbered 2381648-49, 2402027-28, 2246040-41, and 2333766.

This centerpiece and three-part plateau were designed in 1900 as part of Christofle's "surtout Marin." Here they have been paired with the candelabra "rocaille 4 lumières."
