the two large bevelled glazed doors opening to four shelves and applied with gilt-bronze figures of Victory and Renomee within laurel garlands encadrements, flanked with a further pair of doors opening to three shelves and above a small drawer, rosewood veneered interior.

Overall in good condition with the usual minor scratches, nicks, wear and discoloration to carcass, veneers and bronze mounts being consistent with age and use. Slight traces of dirt. Traces of glue visible when opening the doors to back of applied gilt-bronze mounts. Some gilt-bronze decorations applied to bevelled glass have been re-glued at a later date. One banding on inner panel of right side is unglued and available. Large crack to bottom right side of central door. Losses to 7 places around lower gilt-bronze border along the base. All door frames with chips around hinges. 8 losses to gilt-bronze border outlining frieze. Dents and scratches around edges where door frame hits the veneer when opening. Many mounts re-glued showing traces of glue. Some will need to be re-fastened.
