surmounted by a vase form finial painted with amorous couples, the dial with Roman numerals within four pilasters, fronted by a porcelain medallion and flanked by overflowing fruiting cornucopia on a shaped base, the twin trained movement inscribe W.OPPENHEIM / LONDRES-PARIS 237.

Condition

Overall good condition. Slight tarnishing to gilt-bronze overall, one rosette lacking to the right handle of vase finial. The ceramic dial is cracked from the top to the bottom. The rectangular decorated plate fronting the base is vere eglomise with some deterioration and flaking to the paint.
