the front with young courtesans in a landscape and the back with river scenes, with acanthus cast and berried laurel handles, the lid with three pseudo Sevres stamps. 

Condition

Extensive tarnishing to gilt-bronze. Some restoration to gilt highlights. Wear to porcelain body around the neck.
