Description

  • heights 8 3/4 in., 11 3/4 in. and 11 in.
  • 22.2 cm, 29.8 cm and 27.9 cm
the first modelled as a young satyr seated atop a snail on a leaf-molded base; the second as a maiden seated along the back of a sea horse on a stylised wave base; and the third as a child seated astride toad on a mushroom-molded base, the first with blue painted CV monogram 1926 mark CHELSEA, the second incised C. VYSE CHELSEA and the third incised CHARLES VYSE CHELSEA. Minor chip.

Condition

Sea-horse has a minor , flat 1/4-in. chip to the top of the maiden's second and third toes. Otherwise all in generally good condition.
