Condition
The following condition report was kindly provided by Simon Parkes Art Conservation, Inc.:
This painting has been lined using wax as an adhesive, onto a solid support. The paint layer is stable and has been recently cleaned. There are retouches addressing a thin vertical tear in the center of the right side, which runs from the rooftops and descends into the neck of the black horse on the far right side. There appear to be no further retouches and overall, other than this, the condition is extremely good.
