The following condition report was kindly provided by Simon Parkes Art Conservation, Inc.: This painting is in good condition. It has been recently restored and should be hung as is. The tacking edges have been reinforced and the paint layer has been cleaned, retouched and varnished. There are retouches visible under ultraviolet light in the upper sky addressing frame abrasion and in the upper left addressing unevenness to the paint layer. There are no further recent restorations in the figures or the landscape and the picture should be hung as is.
