Condition

The following condition report was kindly provided by Simon Parkes Art Conservation, Inc.: This beautiful painting is very well preserved. The canvas has been lined using glue as an adhesive. The paint layer seems to be clean and varnished, although the varnish is slightly uneven. There is a retouch visible in the sky on the left side near the tree yet the remainder of the picture seems to be in lovely state. Apart from a few spots of retouch around the extreme edge, the condition may be considered to be excellent.
