STRUCTURE This picture is unlined and in good condition. CATALOGUE COMPARISON The illustration is broadly representative PAINT SURFACE The paint surface is in good condition with bright, clear colouring and fine detail throughout. The paint surface appears to be stable and areas of fine craquelure in the sky and water are only visible upon very close inspection. The picture is clean and ready to hang. UNDER ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT There are infillings to the craquelure, particularly in the sky. These retouchings have been well executed. FRAME This picture is contained in moulded plaster frame.
