Condition

STRUCTURE: The sheet is sound. SURFACE: There are very light traces of dirt to the paint surface and two spots of foxing to the girl's nose and hat; these should be easily removed. There are other very light traces of foxing to the door which should also be easily rectified. FRAME: Under glass and held in a modern plaster gilt frame with some loss to the moulding; unexamined out of frame. COLOUR COMPARISON: The colours are generally richer than the illustration suggests.
