Condition

SURFACE: This watercolour has slightly faded and this is more evident in the sky. There are some faint markings in the sky where old foxing marks have been reduced. Otherwise in good original condition with strong colours. FRAME: Contained in a modern gilt and partially painted wooden frame. COLOUR COMPARISON: The colours are not as bold as the catalogue illustration suggests.
