Condition

STRUCTURE: Original canvas. The structure is sound and secure. SURFACE: There is a small round stain off the lower, right edge and light staining in the upper, left corner; otherwise the paint surface is in good, clean condition. FRAME: Held in an ornate plaster gilt and white painted frame in fair condition. COLOUR COMPARISON: The colours are darker and richer throughout than the illustration suggests.
