Folio (532 x 307mm.), printed title-page in red and black with engraved vignette, list of subscribers, 13 plates showing the arms of subscribers, 26 (of 34) double-page or folding engraved maps and plates, maps in contemporary outline colour, plans of Amsterdam and Rome uncoloured, extra illustrated with William Hole's map of Ireland from Camden's Britannia loosely inserted, contemporary panelled calf, lacking 8 maps, long vertical tear through the final plate of subscribers' arms, map of Europe torn and very creased, map of Moscovy missing 50 x 70mm. section in the lower right corner, long closed tear through centre of the maps of the World, Germany, Netherlands and America, most other maps slightly chipped, torn and creased, maps loose, worming to lower margin, binding very worn
