  • 22.8cm., 9in.
the deep funnel bowl engraved with drapery and a marriage coat-of-arms accollé, flanked by cornucopiæ, above a band of honeycomb flutes, over a faceted knopped baluster stem flanked by collars and conical foot engraved with laub und bandelwerk

Restituted from the Kunstgewerbemuseum Berlin to the heirs of Helmuth Meißner in 2007

Condition

Generally in good condition overall. Please note that the arms are those of Friedrich August I, 'The Strong', Elector of Saxony, elected King of Poland (1670-1733) and those of his cousin (married 1693), Princess Eberhardine of Brandenburg-Bayreuth (1674-1727).
