Description

  • black printed marks, shape 2048
  • 34.5cm., 13½in.
painted by H.Ayrton and Freeman, signed, with an arrangement of fruit between moulded borders, the covers pierced

Condition

The finial of one cover has been glued with some resulting small chips around the break. There is a hairack to the rim of the same cover. The fruit painting on the Freeman vase continues around the back. The other vase has a small branch of black grapes on the reverse against an ivory ground.
