painted with sweetpeas or roses beneath green borders, impressed and green painted marks, 26cm., 10¼in. length, some restoration; also three Wemyss heart-shaped inkstands and four covers, circa 1900, painted with cherries, ferns or roses, impressed marks, two covers lacking, some restoration
Condition
Victoria Inkstands:
Sweetpeas- restoration to rim, approx. 1in. by ½in. Two haircracks to rim. Both covers restored
Roses- broken into three pieces and repaired. Some areas of staining. Covers matched, one restored and stained.
Heart shaped Inkstands:
cherries- stand overall in good condition with minor glaze chip around one aperture and minor staining. Covers are matched. One is completely restored, the other stained.
Roses- stand in good condition with minor staining. Both covers restored.
Ferns- covers lacking. Five restored cracks
